We are looking for full time, and part time teachers who can fulfil a variety of potential roles. The successful candidates will be excellent practitioners, flexible, and servant-hearted. They will be able to build upon the successes of the past, maintaining the distinctive quality and tone of the school. Newly qualified as well as experienced teachers are welcome to apply. They will be able to work as part of a strong staff team in line with the vision of Oxfordshire Community Churches. It is therefore a genuine and determining occupational requirement that the job-holder must be a committed Christian willing to work with others in the context of OCC’s ethos statement.

Part time Secondary Roles

  • Tutoring a secondary year group
  • GCSE and KS3 English Teaching (Maternity leave cover to June 18)
  • GCSE and KS3 French Teaching
  • GCSE and KS3 German Teaching
  • Other roles and subjects are likely also to become available

Priority will be given to those who can offer full or near full time when considering applicants for a role as a tutor. School Business Manager and Bursar – The King’s School, Witney

 

Post: School Business Manager and Bursar (Full time role) or Two Part time roles (2-3 days per week each)
Salary: £25,337 – £29,398 (or part time proportion), plus pension contribution

This is an exciting opportunity to provide business management to a thriving and successful Christian school in Oxfordshire. The King’s School has operated for over 30 years providing early years, primary and secondary education. Currently the roll is 200 pupils.

 

We are ideally looking for a full-time business manager with finance, people and estates experience who can help take the school forward into a new phase of development. However, we are willing to look at a job share. We believe each of these roles can be separately undertaken in 2-3 days per week.  The successful candidate or candidates will have excellent management and financial skills. They will be able to build upon the successes of the past, maintaining the distinctive quality and tone of the school as it works together with the local church and community. The successful applicant or applicants will be responsible for the management of the budgets and the facilities, working with a variety of stakeholders and will be part of the school’s senior management team (SMT). They will share responsibility for promoting the Christian faith, being involved in regular prayer and Christian service. It is therefore a genuine occupational requirement that the job-holder must be a committed Christian willing to work with others in the context of The King’s School vision under Oxfordshire Community Churches (OCC) ethos statement.
