We are looking for teachers who can fulfil a variety of potential roles. The successful candidates will be excellent primary practitioners, flexible, and servant-hearted, willing to use their gifts as part of the school team. They will be able to build upon the successes of the past, maintaining the distinctive Christian quality and tone of the school. They will be able to work as part of a strong staff team in line with the vision of Oxfordshire Community Churches. It is therefore a genuine and determining occupational requirement that the job-holder must be a committed Christian willing to work with others in the context of OCC’s ethos statement.

The primary vacancies we have include:

  • 8 temporary Primary teaching as maternity cover until February 2018 with Y2 or/and Y5
  • 5 permanent Primary teaching with Y2 or/and Y5

0.8 Part Time Primary School Teaching Assistant – The King’s School, Witney

We are looking for a part time teaching assistant for 0.8 of a week. The successful candidate will be a support to class teachers in delivering the curriculum, be willing to teach groups, cover break duties, and able to support children with SEN. A significant advantage would be the ability to provide supply cover lessons to a class where appropriate. The successful candidate will be able to work as part of a strong staff team in line with the vision of Oxfordshire Community Churches. School Business Manager and Bursar – The King’s School, Witney

This is an exciting opportunity to provide business management to a thriving and successful Christian school in Oxfordshire. The King’s School has operated for over 30 years providing early years, primary and secondary education. Currently the roll is 200 pupils.

 

We are ideally looking for a full-time business manager with finance, people and estates experience who can help take the school forward into a new phase of development. However, we are willing to look at a job share. We believe each of these roles can be separately undertaken in 2-3 days per week.  The successful candidate or candidates will have excellent management and financial skills. They will be able to build upon the successes of the past, maintaining the distinctive quality and tone of the school as it works together with the local church and community. The successful applicant or applicants will be responsible for the management of the budgets and the facilities, working with a variety of stakeholders and will be part of the school’s senior management team (SMT). They will share responsibility for promoting the Christian faith, being involved in regular prayer and Christian service. It is therefore a genuine occupational requirement that the job-holder must be a committed Christian willing to work with others in the context of The King’s School vision under Oxfordshire Community Churches (OCC) ethos statement.
